Privacy Policy
Short version: we collect what we need to run the game and improve it. We do not sell your data, we do not show third-party ads, and you can delete your account in the app at any time.
Who we are
Franko is made by StockFlow LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Contact us at privacy@getfranko.app.
What we collect
- Account data. When you first open Franko, we create an anonymous account with a random ID. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we receive an identifier and, if you share it, your email address (Apple may give us a private relay address).
- Game data. Your goal, your answers, scores, Money IQ, skill levels, market calls, streaks and league position.
- Subscription status. Apple handles payments. We receive your subscription status through Apple and our subscription provider. We never see your card details.
- Device and usage data. Device model and iOS version (for example to show "your iPhone as a stock"), app version, notification settings and push token, and how you use the app (screens, taps, timings).
- Crash and performance data. Technical logs when the app crashes or runs slowly.
- Support messages. What you send us when you contact support.
How we use it
- To run the game: your daily round, scores, calls, leagues and reminders.
- To personalize: pick cards that match your goal and your level.
- To improve Franko: understand which games work, fix bugs, measure performance.
- To keep Franko safe: prevent abuse and fraud.
- To talk to you: reminders you turn on, and replies to your messages.
Service providers
We use trusted providers who process data for us under contract: Apple (sign-in, payments, push notifications, on-device AI), Google (sign-in), RevenueCat (subscription status), PostHog (product analytics), Sentry (crash reports), our cloud hosting provider, and AI providers such as Anthropic and OpenAI to write and check game content. When the app sends a question to an AI provider for you, we do not include your name or email.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data.
- We do not show third-party advertising in the app, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- We do not hold or move money for you. Market calls in Franko are a game with no money involved.
How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it (for example records about purchases).
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account in the app: Settings › Account › Delete account. This also works by email.
- Turn off reminders in the app or in iOS Settings.
- Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to some uses. Email privacy@getfranko.app. We answer within 30 days.
Children
Franko is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child gave us data, contact us and we will delete it.
International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in other countries. We use contracts and safeguards that the law requires for these transfers.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and other measures to protect your data. No system is perfect, but we work to keep your data safe.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date above. For important changes, we tell you in the app.
